Workshop: Restore Your Pelvic Floor


In this 3 hour lecture and movement workshop, you will learn:

-Why your pelvic floor issue is not just about your pelvic floor,

-Why Kegels are not the answer for most pelvic floor issues,

-What your habits are doing to your pelvic floor, and

-How a holistic, whole body program can help improve the health of your pelvic floor.

This workshop for women who experience any of these:

-stress urinary incontinence

-pelvic pain

-pain with intercourse

-non-specific hip, SI joint or low back pain

-peeing when laughing or sneezing

-leaking with exercise

-have a separation of the abdominal muscles (diastasis recti)

-menstrual cramps

Physical Therapist, Nutritious Movement™ certified Restorative Exercise Specialist and Yoga Instructor Kirstin Bergman of Body Restoration Co. will teach you the WHYS of your pelvic floor issues and then teach you the HOWS of fixing them.

Based on the Biomechanical Model of Health taught by Katy Bowman of Nutritious Movement™, Kirstin will use her 18 years of physical therapy experience and specialized women's health training to help you understand where the issues you are having with incontinence and/or pain are coming from and give you REAL and PRACTICAL tools you can use immediately to help you see results.

In addition to the movement practice, we will be using YTU® therapy balls to explore the pelvic floor area and using the YTU® Coregeous ball to assess and address abdominal tensions that may be causing unwanted excessive pressure on the pelvic floor.
