Experience yoga like you have never done before with Yoga on FitMats. Taking the physical and mental challenges inherent to the practice, and putting the mat on water adds elements of strength and balance less tangible on land alone. The mental aspects of yoga including breath-control and mindfulness are in play as you work to manage your experience through breath-to-movement physical practice, and meditation. Class includes asana (movement), meditation, and breathwork, and is suitable for all levels of experience. This class is a challenge for all levels of fitness however it is not necessarily aerobic (though you will likely break a sweat). For the best experience, yogis should weigh 300 pounds or fewer. Ability to swim not required as typically, you will not make physical contact with the water.
Tuition includes use of the mat and professional instruction. Please arrive a few minutes before class start time to ensure an on-time start.
