Merging With The Elements: Vinyasa Flow, Cacao, Sacred Drumming

Explore the fusion of the ancient internal practices of Yoga and Shamanism. Yoga (union with the Divine) and Shamanism (interaction with the spirit world) both are practices traditionally designed to lead us to the direct flow of wisdom. We begin the class with a cup of Sacred Cacao to connect us to Spirit and to help expand our Heart Chakra (30 min). We then use the ancient teachings of Nature's Five Elements for this intense and transformational yoga practice (90 min). Our experience will be deepened by the constant thread of Sacred Sounds performed live.

Guided by the cycles of the Five Elements, we will embody the energies of Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether. As we become each of these elements, we will learn valuable lessons that will allow us to reveal our passions, to shift perceptions, and to dream our world into being. You will leave the practice feeling spiritually cleansed, emotionally empowered, and expansive....ready to live life the life that wants to live in you! Now is the time to reveal yourself to yourself. As the Hopi Elders stated: “We are the ones that we’ve been waiting for.”

TEACHER BIO: Amy is a Birth Doula, Yoga Teacher, and Spiritual Guide. She walks the Earth with gentleness, courage, and self knowledge. As a Lightworker, Amy is humbly devoted to the basic goodness of human life and radiates that goodness out into the world for the peace and sanity of others. Her calm, nurturing nature and playful spirit support students on their journey of self-discovery and transformation. Her presence as a healer embodies qualities of mother, sister, and best friend. Through simple, creative sequencing, she creates a welcoming environment for students to explore their bodies, their voices, and their spiritual presence. She is inspired by her own practice of nine years where she has laid her yoga mat and bright spirit on top of mountains in Spain, on sidewalks in Italy, and inside numerous hostels around the world. Amy is fascinated by the ancient practices of Shamanism and Zen and has a deep love for plants and the wisdom of Nature. When Amy is not teaching yoga, you can find her in the kitchen cooking wholesome meals, walking around the lakes, and shakin’ her booty to some good bluegrass music. She is committed to a lifelong practice of healing and transformation.

Ever dreamed of floating foot-over-hip into a shoulderstand? Want to feel like a kid again and kick-up against a wall in a handstand? Thought about doing a headstand but can't imagine where to start? This workshop is something that covers all of these topics. You'll practice inversion preparation poses, learn core and balance exercises that will increase your likelihood of building your inversion practice, experience body positioning that will help connect your muscles and mind to inversion shapes, and how to successfully recover from an inversion practice.

Team headstands everywhere is participating in Wanderlust 108 on June 30, 2018, at 7:30 AM, in St. Paul, MN.

What is Wanderlust 108? 1 = Unity 0 = Wholeness 8 = Infinite Love

Wanderlust 108 is full day celebration in support of the mindful movement, featuring a triathlon unlike any you’ve ever known. We bring together three intentional activities in your favorite local park: a 5K* run, an outdoor yoga flow class, and a guided meditation. Following the triathlon, you can take one scheduled activity, such as acroyoga, AIReal Yoga™, hooping, or walking meditation.

Nationally recognized teachers, spiritual leaders, and musical talent are featured at each event to make for a fun-filled, empowering day both on and off your mat. From DJs on the main stage to local vendors offering organic food and crafts, and charitable organizations making an impact in your local community,

Join a vibrant community to spread love, peace, compassion, and well-being into the world.

We'll caravan from the studio at 5AM, equipped with coffee and bagels, dressed in freshly pressed new headstands everywhere t-shirts, and armed with yoga mats.

Balance is tricky. And whether you're standing, sitting, kneeling, or --eek-- on your arms, there are some tools and preparations that will aid in your success. If you've ever wanted to try arm balances but weren't sure where to start, this is the class for you! If you practice arm balances and you're ready for what's next, this is the class for you. If you have tried balances here-and-there, this is the class for you! 

This all levels Arm Balance Workshop will help you get up and stay up, or get your ready for going up. Come learn and practice in our safe, comfortable environment. There is nobody to compete with here but you. 

$20 for non-pass-holders.

BOGA FitMat is an inflated mat, similar to a large yoga mat, placed on water. headstands everywhere is proud to offer yoga on FitMats through Willmar Community Ed & Rec (WCER). Classes are held at the Willmar Middle School pool.

October schedule starts 10/9/17 | Classes offered 4-days per week as follows:

  • 5:45 AM - 6:45 AM | Monday, Wednesday, Friday
  • 7:15 - 8:15 PM | Tuesdays

Multiple pass types available:

Rise & Dine | Yoga and Brunch at O'Neil's in Spicer


We'll meet a little before 9AM at Pirrotta Park (159 N Lake Ave in Spicer, across from O'Neil's), and practice yoga together for about 60-minutes. Afterward, we'll cross the street to O'Neil's for brunch -- complete with mimosa bar! The yoga will be gentle, and accessible to all levels of experience. The brunch will be delicious and refreshing. Dress comfortably, bring a yoga mat if you have one, and prepare for a wonderful Saturday morning! Advanced purchase appreciated but not required. Kids welcome.

Intro to Yoga

Intro to Yoga is your chance to find the yoga that's best for you! You'll learn in a small group and be provided with great supplies -- including a Manduka yoga mat. We'll cover the basics of asana (movement), pranayama (breathing), and meditation (mind management) so you can learn what you like.

We'll practice together over four sessions:

  • September 20 & 27, and
  • October 4 & 11;
  • all sessions at 7 - 8:15 PM.

$125 covers everything and includes a drop-in class pass for your use after completing the series.

Grab your partner, friend, similarly-sized sibling or kid, and come learn how to practice yoga together in a comforable and complimentary way! Leslie + 1 will guide you and your selected other on an exploratory physical journey during which you will learn how to compliment your shared practice.

Float & Flow Yoga

Float & Flow with us on beautiful Green Lake from Spicer on September 9, 9-11AM. 

Join Headstands Everywhere for #yoga with snacks, #mimosas and bloody marys after, as we float on beautiful Green Lake on board a boat. We'll board in #Spicer near Zorbaz, and travel on smooth, clear waters for two hours. Our practice will be 60 minutes on the top deck of a large floating vessel. Brunch and drinks to follow.

Improve your core strength, flexibility, and stamina through thoughtful, breath-based movement; practicing yoga that is paced at your fitness and experience level, and aligned with your body's needs. Connect with your physical body.

Calm your mind through-out your practice and, through meditation and breathing, learn how to steady your mind in-the-moment. Even if, in the past, you have found meditation difficult or you have never tried, you will learn and practice techniques that can be easily applied; learn accessible and portable meditation and breathing practices.

This 90-Day Yoga Challenge is not meant to be a boot camp. We're not asking you to drop everything and practice yoga 90 days in a row. We know you are busy. And we also know that you want to integrate yoga into your life. We think we know how to help you do that.

This series includes 48 yoga sessions over 90 days. You can move at the class pace, or at your own pace. Everything is recorded so you can practice when and where-ever you want.

Here's how it works:
* 15 of the classes are available Day 1, provided online and on a thumb-drive. You can practice the classes whenever you like.
* 15 of the classes focus on movement; these classes are scheduled in advance, 60-minutes in duration, available live in the the studio and online, and also recorded so you can practice the classes whenever you would like. 
* 15 of the classes focus on breathing and meditation; these classes are scheduled in advance, 45-minutes in duration, available live online, and also recorded so you can practice the classes whenever you would like. 
* 3 of the classes are one-on-one, 30-minutes in duration, in the studio or online, and completely focused on you and what you would like to practice. These classes can be live in-person or online, and are scheduled based on your availability.

We will have forums, and bonus content. There will be motivation email, check-ins, and all kinds of cool stuff.

All you need is a computer, phone, or tablet. If you want to practice on a schedule or download, you will need internet access. You do not need to ever come to the studio, unless you would like to. You can practice anywhere -- while you're on vacation, while you are at home, everywhere. You get to keep all of the videos so you are purchasing a library of 45 yoga practices that you can use for a lifetime.

You feel comfortable in your yoga classes and you want to start practicing at home too.You have not done much yoga and you love it, and want to make it a larger part of your life.

  • 60-minute live asana practices -- simulcast classes. Asana is yogic movement and the focus in these hour-long classes is movement to increase flexibility, strengthen core, gain mobility, and connect breath-to-movement. Classes are every-other-week.
  • 30-minute focused asana practices -- available Day 1, on-demand. These are the basics. Sun Salutations A, B, C in many 3 flavors each, and 1 hybrid, plus 5 inspiring floor-series. 
  • 45-minute breath and meditation practices -- focused on breathing and mind-management, these practices are simulcast alternate the live asana practices and invigorate mind and body. 
  • 30-minute one-on-ones -- private virtual or in-person sessions to focus on what's most important to you. 

Available to all. All experiences. Everyone. Everywhere. 


1. Does this mean I need to do yoga every day for 90 days? 
No. Yes. Whatever you want. There are 15 videos available immediately, and 30 more scheduled classes.

2. Do I have to go to scheduled classes at the time scheduled?
No. Yes. Whatever you want. All classes are recorded for future consumption so you can join on schedule or after, or both. Up to you.

3. I'm worried my schedule is too inconsistent or busy to make it to every class. Will it work?
Yes! You can watch the classes any time you want because they're all recorded. Classes are available within 24 hours after they end.

4. Do these classes count towards my insurance totals for reimbursement?
Yes! If you're enrolled in insurance reimbursement, we'll keep count of your sessions and submit your participation, including these sessions, each month, per usual.
